What Blogs & Sites Will You Visit First on Nov. 5th?

Granting that this isn’t exactly a substance-heavy topic, I’m curious about the politically-oriented commentary (i.e. not hard news) blogs and websites that the contributors and commenters of AC visit. My first visits after I wake up on the 5th (and probably the last before I go to the night before) will most likely be:

Culture11

Ross Douthat

The Corner

American Catholic (duh!)

Vox Nova

Daniel Larison

The American Scene

Rod Dreher

(Not necessarily in that order. 😉

What about you?

I’m going to be angry either way — the degree will change depending on the victor. If its McCain, I’ll look forward to four more years of a Republican-Democratic gridlock and no change. If Obama wins, I’ll be looking forward to the one-sided political machine.

Oh…I’ll probably go to Real Clear Politics.

Instapundit, because it is a good gateway site to interesting commentary. The Hedgehog Report as the results are coming in because they have some great people to analyze votes and predict trends in states. Hot Air for Ed Morrissey, who formerly ran Captain’s Quarter, and who I have always been impressed by. Powerline if things get interesting in Minnesota.

Probably all of the above (with the exception of Culture 11 — thanks for the introduction — we seem to share blogrolls. =) However, I’d append

Jay Anderson (Pro Ecclesia…),

dotCommonweal

Southern Appeal)

What’s Wrong with the World.

And if Obama loses (Lord willing), I might even venture on over to Huffington Post, Daily Kos and Democratic Underground to observe the self-implosion.

Of COURSE, all serious American Catholics are praying and fasting for this election, right? 😉

Well, here, of course. Vox Nova, Eunomia, Culture 11, Talking Points Memo, The Anchoress, Nathancontramundi, Jay Anderson, Glenn Greenwald, and Sullivan will also be on my click list.

I think that at the moment I’m trying to convince myself that I’ll be spending less time online after the election. One can always have one’s illusions…

Actually, my list is shockingly similar to Chris Burgwald’s, though if Obama loses I’d probably go read The New Republic blogs to see the “reax”.

On second thought, if Obama loses, there won’t be any internet:

“If Obama loses it will spark the second American Civil War. Blood will run in the streets, believe me. And it’s not a coincidence that President Bush recalled soldiers from Iraq for Dick Cheney to lead against American citizens in the streets.”

The same ones I glom onto regularly. Youse mugs right here. American Papist. Mark Shea. Cacciaguida. Dyspeptic Mutterings. Lucianne. Drudge. Rush after his show. What Do Dat Prayer Really Say. If I want libs, I can read my local Dead Tree Journals or hear our all-news radio station. Covers most everything and everybody.
