Hattip to Creative Minority Report.
If Tim Roach questioned his own manhood after six months of unemployment, consider the question asked and answered. Tim Roach is a man, a good man.
In mid February, Tim, got a call from his local union with the news every laid off worker longs to hear — a job offer.
It couldn’t have come at a better time. Tim’s unemployment benefits were about to run out. He could hardly believe what the voice on the other end was presenting to him — an offer to be a job foreman for at least 11 months, with a salary of $65,000 to $70,000 a year.
Perfect, Tim thought. Then came the bad news — he would be working on construction of a new Planned ParentÂhood Clinic in St. Paul on University Avenue. The highest of highs became the lowest of lows as he quickly turned down the offer.
Tim’s Union rep tried to get him to reconsider saying he wasn’t sure if abortions would be performed there but he simply responded, “It’s a Planned Parenthood. No.”
Go here to read the rest of the story. If he lived close to me, I would do everything in my power to help him find work as an electrician. If any of our readers in the Saint Paul and Minneapolis area can help him find work, that would be great. A man of high principle like this I am sure would be a worker to be treasured by anyone lucky enough to hire him.
God bless him.
Good for him. We need more like him in this culture of death.
Yeah he should run for office. We need people with his integrity…
Truly,a man’s Man and God bless him.
However, his chances for a career in politics are over! You could say he is “Branded for LIFE”, thank God.
Thank you Mr. Roach!!!
I am just astounded at the courage of this man. If only I could be as brave…
I’ll take a wild guess and say Tim Roach loves his wife dearly and is devoted to our Holy Mother Mary. Because that’s the comfort zone where minds and hearts like his are at home and find peace.
God bless Mr Roach. Ite ad Joseph.
May our Lord richly reward Tim and all his family. May he soon find a fine job. It is so encouraging to learn of such a strong, courageous, and committed Catholic man and family, who has sacrificed much for the love of God.
Lord bless this dear man.
I write from Spain (Europe). We need in our nation people like Tim. God Bless him and his family !!!
