Flight of the Bumblebee

Something for the weekend. The Flight of the Bumblebee written by Nikolai Andreyevich Rimsky-Korsakov for his opera The Tale of Tsar Saltan  in 1899-1900.

American males of my vintage were mostly introduced to the tune, performed by Al Hirt, courtesy of The Green Hornet show from the Sixties:

I was introduced to The Green Hornet in the 1940s on radio. I called my first car, the Green Hornet not the Black Beauty” and I was, of course, Kato and later Cato the Elder.
Thanks for another good memory. I am constantly amazed at your blend of posts. Where do you get all these ideas!
