If the Pope were here in the US, PopeWatch assumes he would be participating in the March for Life. How can PopeWatch be certain of that? Based upon this incident from last May:
But if organizers knew about a planned appearance by the pope at the march, they made no mention of it before the event, leaving participants delighted by the unexpected arrival of the pontiff. Â Â
“The March for Life brought 40 thousand people to Rome today,” organizers announced after the event. “The Pope greeted the march at the Regina Coeli and then met the parade on the Popemobile in the Via Concilazione.”
Go here to read the rest. When it comes to abortion, Pope Francis is just as much an ardent champion of life as any of his predecessors.
“When it comes to abortion, Pope Francis is just as much an ardent champion of life as any of his predecessors.” Thank you, Lord
This morning, the Mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception included a treasure in the form of the sermon. It spoke of the strength in the relationships between evil and tolerance and between good and hope. The Gospel was the account of Jesus’ healing of the man with the withered hand on the Sabbath in the temple leading the Pharisees to condemn Him. Familiar developments in 2014’s world, particularly today in certain political and media circles.
Pope Francis’ Papal Nuncio to the US was the celebrant, so, yes I agree with PopeWatch’s assumption.
The inspired sermon must be somewhere online. It was written by Archbishop Chaput and delivered by Monsignor Rossi at the Mass.

Donald, am I being presumption if I say, that PopeWatch is beginning to approve of the new Pope?
PopeWatch calls ’em like PopeWatch sees ’em Ez based upon day by day developments.
