Vatican Lavender Mafia in Charge

Pat Archbold at Creative Minority Report gives us the news that the Lavender Mafia is alive and well at the Vatican:

Number one. From Radio Vaticana. “The Bishop of Trier, Stephan Ackermann, criticizes offers to “heal” homosexuality. There is no official church support for such initiatives, Ackermann said on Wednesday evening in Saarbrücken….Ackermann expressed at the Lesbian and Gay Association (LSVD) Saar organized public discussion, attended by around 100 people took part. The two-hour meeting was the first of its kind in Germany.”

A Bishop saying that the Church does not believe in ‘healing’ those who suffer from an intrinsic disorder which can be so destructive in the lives of people, seems at odds with Catholicism. That is not to say that all methods are created equally and that quackery should not be avoided, but if we love them we must help to heal them.

Number two. As if this wasn’t bad enough, Radio Vaticana in their report on the Bishop’s statement used this picture on the Vatican website..

Yes, this picture on the Vatican website.

There is a scene in Rocky II in which Rocky’s manager has the following conversation with him:

Mickey: [after slapping Rocky in the face with his left hand] Now you didn’t even see that comin’, did ya? And that’s comin’ from a broken down punk like me. What… what do ya think the champ would do to ya?

Rocky Balboa: Hurt me bad, I guess…

Mickey: Na, he’d hurt ya permanent. *Permanent*!

That is precisely what the current gay heresy is doing to Christianity.  Christian denomination after Christian denomination are turning their backs on Christian morality in a futile attempt to placate the bigoted activists among a minute sliver of the population actively engaged in a sexual perversion.  The forces that promote this fundamental betrayal of Christ are now very active and very powerful within the Church, and it is time, past time, for faithful Catholics to stand up and say we will not tolerate this attempt to transform sin into non-sin and to pretend that this sexual perversion is equivalent to male-female relationships.  What a truly silly and corrupt time in which we live!

Cardinal, if you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.

A recent poll pegged at 2.3% the Americans that self-identify themsleves as such. Talk about the tail wagging the dog. Pun intended.

I’ll bet that the Bishop did not offer to help heal their Souls.

Anytime any cleric regarding of rank says something stupid, quote the Bible or “Catechism of the Catholic Church, Second Edition”.

BIBLE: Gen 19:1-29; Rom 1:24-27; 1 Cor 6:10; 1 Tim 1:10; Jud 1:7.

CCC: “2396 Among the sins gravely contrary to chastity are masturbation, fornication, pornography, and homosexual practices.”

CCC: ” 2357 Homosexuality refers to relations between men or between women who experience an exclusive or predominant sexual attraction toward persons of the same sex. It has taken a great variety of forms through the centuries and in different cultures. Its psychological genesis remains largely unexplained. Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity, tradition has always declared that “homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered”.
They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity.
Under no circumstances can they be approved. “

Where is Pope Francis? Why can’t Pope Francis do something to put an end to this?

I don’t think he wants to. The German and Austrian Catholic hierarchies are in virtual schism. The US bishops encourage the destruction of our southern border in the name of helping poor people. The Church in Ireland is in meltdown. Apparently some of the Filipino bishops have gone soft.

Pope Francis apparently has an agenda and it doesn’t involve confronting these kinds of problems. He has a favored cardinal seek out and destroy the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculata but he can’t raise a finger about these episodes of nonsense.

Pope Francis has proven a point – that he is incapable of dealing with real problems in the Church. John Paul II was not a great administrator but Francis looks to be a genuinely weak and ineffective administrator. The Latin American hierarchy, by and large, is concerned only with poverty (a serious problem there) but they don’t know a single thing about how to end it.

It is a time of chastisement in the Church. We don’t know how long it will last.

I do not have any prejudice against homosexual people. Some of my co-workers have been homosexual, and we worked well together. I lived in an apartment above a homosexual, and we were friends and got along fine. I don’t judge anybody’s sex life because I know what I deserve for all my mistakes. But homosexual behavior is not marriage, and it is just as wrong as adultery and fornication. However, I don’t intend to invade anyone’s house to say, “Stop that!” But I am obligated to support the truth: “Know you not that the unjust shall not possess the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, Nor the effeminate, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor railers, nor extortioners, shall possess the kingdom of God. And such some of you were: but you are washed, but you are sanctified, but you are justified in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, and in the spirit of our God.” 1st Corinthians 6:9-11.
.
I am so disappointed at and disgusted with the Vatican. Maybe the time of pruning that St. Paul describes in Romans 11:17-24 is upon us:
.
“And if some of the branches be broken, and thou being a wild olive-tree, art ingrafted in them, and art made partaker of the root and of the fatness of the olive-tree, Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast: thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. Thou wilt say then: the branches were broken off that I might be grafted in. Well: because of unbelief they were broken off. But thou standest by faith: be not high-minded, but fear. For if God hath not spared the natural branches: he may not perhaps spare thee also. See, therefore, the goodness, and the severity of God: towards them, indeed, that are fallen, the severity: but towards thee, the goodness of God, if thou continue in goodness, otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be ingrafted: for God is able to ingraft them again. For if thou wert cut out of the wild olive-tree, which is natural to thee, and, contrary to nature, wert grafted into the good olive-tree: how much more shall they, that are the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive-tree?”

I am no coward. If I am doing wrong, judge my behavior. Please! If I was dancing on the edge of a cliff, would you give me no warning? Try gently first of course. But, do whatever you can to help point out the wrong I am doing. My eternal destination could be in jeopardy. I’ll work hard to put my pride to the side and hear you out. If you have Truth, speak it!
