One of the advantages of age is that it usually does give one a bit of perspective. I lived through the Watergate Scandal as a young teenager and was appalled by it. In the eyes of the Obama administration the rule of law is for their adversaries to observe, not them. Once it becomes generally accepted that the law is a mere partisan weapon, deciding political struggles by the use of force is merely a matter of sooner or later.
