Your right. First, nothing much to laugh about if the curtain falls on humanity in gargantuan ways.
In smaller ways, still unacceptable, the wrath of bad decisions could be looked upon as God’s Wrath based on leaving his children to go their own way and face the consequences of those decisions.
Hillary is still voted in as President despite her dishonesty.
Gay marriage opened the doors to mixed species marriage. The Church deplores the union and is chastised, fined and officials arrested for disobeying the State.
This fiction is a type of chastisement, not God induced, but induced by ignorance of God or hatred of virtue. Disobedience.
Wrath could be turning His head and saying, so be it! You Don’t want my blessings, so be it.
Could this be a type of wrath?

Philip, I agree with your comments.. My gut reaction is one of terror.. Should we really be. Along for wrath or Mercy?

Philip, I agree with your insightful comments. Calling for wrath puts terror in my heart and makes me wonder if we shouldn’t be calling for Mercy instead.

EOTT is satirical fun, and this weekend’s installment was no different. Year of Mercy followed by year of Wrath.
In St. Faustina Kowalska’s Diary the time of Mercy will be followed by a time of Justice.
The injustices that plague us continually will one day end thanks be to God. The Wrath of God parody is cute, but the evil we witness and it’s support, made me wonder about a type of wrath that is in motion.
Unlike the learned contributors to TAC, I will throw thoughts out here without proper evidence to support them. My “gut” feelings is all I had in this instance.

I read EOTT’s satire with a sinking heart, because all of that is becoming/has become a reality. It is very hard to keep hope in Christ’s promise, “Behold, I am with you till the end of the age.”
“Behold, I am with you till the end of the age.” Christ is with us. Are we with Christ?
