Light show on St. Peters dome?
Tisk tisk.
The light show recently promoting the idea of Saving Our Planet and the creatures who make their home on it was ……nice.
The most striking light show on St. Peters dome occurred moments after Pope Emeritus decided to resign his office. That light show was natural.
It reminded me that a new Heaven and a new earth are in the future. That the rightful owner of the earth and all the universe is concerned with one element. Our soul.
Rainbow Whitehouse’s and Holy Structures pimping out fashionable ideas are things designed to tickle the ears and dazzle the eyes. Distractions and smoke to entice even the elect.
Lucifer Show is coming to an end!
I am worried about the fall of Catholic education. If our bishops worried half asmuch about making Catholic education both Catholic and affordable, maybe we’d be able to fill our rectories and convents again.
Here’s a laugh; ACLU Colorado Springs chapter member Loring Wirbel expresses the “tolerance” that only the left can convey.
“If you are voting for him I will have to shoot you before election day.”(him being Trump)
This is the voice of radical anti-american liberalism that smiles as a baker is forced to close after being sued and order to pay $100,000 plus because they objected to fill a request to bake a cake for a gay couple.
Here’s the humor. Now the ACLU is advocating gun violence against Trump supporter’s. Who, BTW, are the gun slingers the left hate so much. Funny stuff.
Come and get it. Take your best shot ACLU.
It may be your last.

Two witnesses, two testimonies establish a judicial fact. Jesus said: “test everything.” Removing the Marriage Tribunal, removes the two witnesses to establish a judicial fact. In other words, what the church does with one witness in the Marriage (Tribunal?) will not stand up in a court of law.
Loring Wirbel expressing a desire to execute another person who chooses to be conservative and have an opinion contrary to her own is the epitome of criminality in encouraging weak minded people to criminality, a call to violate the law and incite to riot…and she is applauded.
Hi Mary.
She might be applauded in this era, in this world, but the test by fire will prove what we suspect. Flames will devoure the words and actions of the disobedient. They will not survive the heat from above. They will make great ashes. Great for the worms to nest in.
Great for the demons to dance on.
Hi Philip,
The left has tasted blood and they want more.
Unless man can forgive himself, there can only be chaos in the world. Man can only forgive himself with the absolution of Jesus Christ in the Sacrament of Penance.
All the mercy in God’s heart cannot change a man’s mind. God does not come unless invited.
Mary De Voe.
“God does not come unless invited.”
Perfectly said!
Recounting my personal choices in my lifetime and the plea to save me from myself, your words ring loud and clear. That rush of love from above is none other than amazing Grace.
The bloodthirsty will be given many opportunities to repent, however time doesn’t stand still. Sam Kinision (sp)?, is an example.
He made his name blaspheming God in night clubs and college campuses until he met the grill of an eighteen wheeler head on while driving back to LA from a Vegas gig.
Sometimes it’s better to follow in your father’s footsteps. His dad was a preacher.
Pray for the conversion of sinners…including myself.

Kinison led a wastrel life, but he was an interesting character. He had an intellectual curiosity that led him to often be at odds with the political correctness that dominates the entertainment industry.

Although he lived far from his religious roots some of his comedy about religion indicates a longing for God and an understanding that he was not living a good life. Let us hope that druggie Ozzy Osbourne was correct:
“Said Ozzy Osbourne, “Apparently when Sam had the accident, I heard he got out of the car and look up to the heavens and said, ‘I don’t want to die,’ and then just said, ‘Oh, okay,’ and laid down and died. It sounds crazy and will probably offend a lot of my fans, but I believe there’s a higher power. Some people may think Sam Kinison’s in one place, but I know where he is. He’s upstairs; he’s next to God.””
Always hope.
Hope and longing for forgiveness.
Let’s pray Ozzie is right.
