Yes to the comment from O’Rourke! It certainly points out the incongruity of the pope calling conservative Catholics neo pelagian as the sanctimonious ones really are the liberals.

I don’t know why Boudreaux calls them “secular theists” – secular me-ists seems more apt.

Secular theist n. one who has little or no belief in God but has an unshakeable faith in government.

Yes Micha- they say faith is what sacred and secular have in common… it is the object of faith that is different.
