PopeWatch: Prophecy of Malachy

PopeWatch2-199x300-199x300-199x300

Well, Archbishop Georg Gänswein, the personal secretary of the Pope Emeritus, is either the most guileless cleric alive, or he knows how to set bonfires:

During the interview, Paul Badde referenced an old alleged prophecy that has recently gained traction in some clerical discussions: The “Prophesy of the Popes.” Also known as the “Prophesy of Malachy,” the prediction is attributed to Saint Philipp Neri – according to which, Pope Francis may be considered to be the last pope.

“Indeed, when looking at the prophecy, and considering how there was always a sound reference to popes mentioned in its history – that gives me the shivers,” Archbishop Gänswein admitted.

Although Catholics aren’t required to accept the prophecy, “speaking from historical experience, one has to say: Yes, it is a wake-up call.”

Go here to read the rest.  The Prophecy of Malachy is historical bunk.  Why did the Archbishop then say what he did?

In the same interview, while stating that there are no differences between Pope Francis and the Pope Emeritus, he discussed the lightning bolt that struck the dome of Saint Peter’s on the evening of the resignation of Pope Benedict, noting that “nature had spoken”.  Reading this along with his earlier remarks that the Church now has, in some limited sense, two Popes, go here to read about it, PopeWatch is curious as to what the game of the Archbishop is and whether the Pope Emeritus is part of it?  Ah, Vatican intrigue, a constant in the history of the Church!

Go ask forgiveness from a sodomite.

When we are asked to do the above from a Pope….well….call it a “sign.”

He told reporters on the plane “there are traditions in some countries, some cultures, that have a different mentality about this question (homosexuals)” [Like our president PF couldn’t bring himself to mention Islam or Muslim.] and there are “some (gay) demonstrations that are too offensive for some”. [No kidding! Especially offensive to the clergy when a favorite costume in gay pride parades is that of priests, monks and nuns with male genitalia peeking out of the habits.]
Maybe PF should ask himself why so many young Catholics have fallen away. One reason I can think of: homosexual pedophile priests whom their seniors covered for or hid them and their actions.
The Lavender Mafia appears to be running this pontiff’s Vatican.
There also appears to be a contest between PF and BHO as to who can make the most outrageous and damaging statements and stay in the spotlight. the longest.

Just like I am not sure our country will ever recover from the damage Obama has done to it, I am not sure that the Catholic Church will ever recover from the damage that Francis is doing to it.

and stay in the spotlight. the longest.

Therein lies the explanation.

Notice the stakes for creating further chaos and prosecuting morality have risen since the relativists have noticed challengers, finding it too bad that humanity may still have discernment in adhering to the Word of God. Whatever the -ism at the wheel, the Church leaders are along for the ride enjoying exemptions just as the politicians do – humanity be damned. The EU has the msm and dem candidates sowing $ alarm, the Vatican is sowing weed seeds, and humanity grows numb. Evil has playthings and tools all around its world.
