Should be a wild debate. Clinton will probably attempt to play it safe while Trump will come out swinging. Trump’s goal will be to make Clinton’s mask slip and reveal the deeply unpopular essence within. Clinton will want to demonstrate that Trump simply does not make a plausible President. Put your observations and thoughts in the comboxes.
She openly advocates baby murdering and sodomy sanctification. She must be defeated. She is evil and diabolical and satanic. Godless, wicked, idolatrous.
never had a foreign gov’t trying to interfere in our election…? (Hillary said)
I think China tried to influence our elections way back in last century with Clintons and Democrats.
Considering this is a fairly wonkish debate, Trump is more than holding his own. How any self-proclaimed pro-lifer can vote for Hillary after her paean to abortion is beyond me.

The debate came across much more conventional than the previous two. Trump probably gave his strongest performance of the three debates. Trump made a big mistake by not simply saying he would accept the results of the election if he lost. That will be the headline tomorrow and it does Trump no good.
While it was Trump’s best performance, I still think it was horrible.
Trump’s second best performance. He started down many avenues and veered off before nailing the point. He had some set ups and failed to take advantage of, e.g. Clinton talking about hacking, espionage, and the importance maintaining secrets. Uh Trump, this is where you talk about running personal email servers for government classified information. “Speaking of espionage, Hillary violated the Espionage Act. …” That came up, much later and abbreviated.
Debate result is a draw, which is not good for Trump.
“How any self-proclaimed pro-lifer can vote for Hillary after her paean to abortion is beyond me.”
Please note all of the Bushes, Chavetz, McCain, Ryan, Kasich, etc., who claim to be or pro-life who are openly supporting Hillary and/or doing all they can to undermine Trump. This type of sheer hypocrisy is why Christians stay home and don’t vote & despise the Republican party in general.
True. Fortunately for him he is up against Hillary who, for a professional politician, has given lousy debate performances.
“This type of sheer hypocrisy is why Christians stay home…” Well, there will always be hypocrisy in politics. And, despite their current hypocrisy, both Presidents Bush stood for the pro-life cause in ways that wouldn’t have happened if their opponents had won. For instance, we now have the repeal of the Hyde Amendment. Personally, as a Christian, I don’t like my tax dollars going to pay for abortions. So, I hold my nose every 4 years and vote for the candidate who will do more good, particularly for the unborn. In fact, I assume if the unborn could vote they would not stay home this, or any, year when their lives are literally on the line.

Twenty minutes of truth.
Early on, Trump should have brought up Hillary’s comment about having public and private opinions on issues. Then he could have repeatedly asked her, “but what is your private position on that?” The weakest chink in her armor, her Achilles’ Heel is her lack of credibility. And a good response to the defection of leaked DNC emails could have been, “If you think the Russians hacked into the DNC, what kept them from doing the same thing to your State Department communications?” If Hillary wins this election, it will be due to the abysmal ignorance of an enormous portion of the electorate.
I still don’t get the whole Russian hacking angle. Assuming it is true, Russia is interfering in our election, how? By unmasking the Hildebeast!!! Oh, the horror!! Would that when we interfere in foreign elections, it is only by unmasking the evil of the candidates.
The debate was difficult to watch. I struggle to maintain a modicum of charity for Hillary. We must love our enemies after all, and not judge as we would not be judged. But by the objective observation to which we are constrained, I am reminded of Thomas More’s saying, “For Wales? Why Richard, it profit a man nothing to give his soul for the whole world . . . but for Wales!”
I might add that it sticks in my mind that I read such a remark here on these pages. Not meaning to merely hop on but what a powerful warning.
Headlines should have read: “Hillary Says Partial Birth Abortion is a BAD Choice” – which she literally did. Trump pushed her into it by insisting repeatedly on his pro-life stance. Didn’t anyone else catch that ? I thought it would implode her campaign right then and there. I thought she was losing it and was finished as a candidate. Admitting she was wrong about one of her core beliefs — support for abortion.
Excuse me — Actually they were talking about late term abortion. I suppose partial birth would at least technically qualify as that…
