My Heart Bleeds

Following President-elect Donald Trump’s victory and Republicans’ major electoral gains in November, outgoing Obama employees and loyalists to failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton have found their job prospects in the District foundering, according to Politico.

“It feels like there are just thousands of us trying to find a job, and there are no jobs,” longtime Clinton aide Mira Patel, who worked for Clinton in her Senate, State Department and 2016 campaign offices, told the outlet.

Following Trump’s surprise victory Nov. 8, Democratic operatives no longer have some 4,000 presidentially appointed jobs for which to apply when the billionaire businessman takes the oath of office Jan. 20.

The Democratic workers who were expecting to see a Clinton White House are reportedly finding the transition especially difficult:

Clinton aides appear to be having a harder time, both emotionally and practically.

“There’s anger, there’s frustration, there’s anxiety, there’s burnout,” said Russ Finkelstein, a managing director at Clearly Next and longtime progressive career guru (including as a founding team member at the lefty jobs board Idealist.org) who has been counseling Clinton alumni.

“People are in shock,” said Anastasia Kessler-Dellaccio, 35, who quit her job at Sister Cities International to run Foreign Policy Professionals for Hillary. Some Clinton campaign workers say they’ve lost their bearings because they’re so rattled by the differences in Trump’s values from those represented by Obama and Clinton.

Kessler-Dellaccio added, “I think people, myself included, are trying to figure out, ‘How do I recalibrate my dreams?’”

“…because they’re so rattled by the differences in Trump’s values from those represented by Obama and Clinton.”
So Obama and Clinton have “values?”

Diddums. Their time with Obama and Clinton have made them unemployable. They are now relegated to the ranks of the Deplorables.

“I’m not like other people. I can’t stand pain. It hurts me.” – Daffy Duck

It’s like these guys think they’re the first ones to ever go through this. If you lose a campaign, odds are good that you have some disagreements with the winner. People you disagree with get the jobs, and you don’t. You’re not entitled to power.

The video was priceless. Ann Coulter can take a punch and now the part of the video on her is super priceless. And I unlike Donald McClarey never thought Trump would win especially after the sexual allegations of late in the campaign…? early October. It was the most interesting election ever for odd reasons…but the news media and celebrity world as a rule were lockstep headed for a lemming cliff dive because of their internal pressures to conform to each other.
And I wish Trump would twitter as to whether any of the celebs moved to another country….Amy Schumer, ? the black activist whose name escapes me….etc.

I am trying hard not to feel happy about this.

These freaking wimps had no problem in putting Christian bakers out of business for standing by their Christian consciences. They had no problem with ensuring businessmen were drummed out of industry for maintaining a personal belief in the sanctity of marriage and human life. They had no problem in demonizing, marginalizing and intimidating 60+ million Americans whom they deemed to be deplorable. To them what I would say begins with an unprintable epithet. And Philip, I am happy about this because it’s God’s justice. For 8 long reads we have put up with these people. Enough is enough.

While reading this I remembered and re-heard my mother’s voice from my teen years: “you don’t have anything to do? You don’t have anything to do? I’ll find you something to do.”
Hearing that had a way of causing an attitude re-adjustment.

Mrs. Dellacio’s a PR hack. Behind the link in the uncharacteristically sour face of Jennifer Psaki, another PR hack. These are people whose metier is pushing stuff in the media. I find it amusing that Google HR is acting as a job placement service for Clinton aides. Bill Gates and Microsoft tended to avoid political entanglements (at least until the Justice Department came after them). I am curious as to why tech companies have in the last dozen years elected to make themselves auxilliaries of the Democratic Party.

“How do I recalibrate my dreams?” -Kessler Dellaccio

It’s funny isn’t it?
How will she move past this collosal disappointed?

It’s easy. Like the younger snowflakes at Harvard, a fresh supply of colored pencils and a 100 page coloring book will occupy that troubled mind. This is what Anastasia is in need of. Oh. And a reminder that Hillary Clinton stalled out and concocted lies costing the REAL lives of four true Americans in ’12.

Watched Trump’s press conference today. He declared CNN a fake news channel to their reporter’s face. I wonder if he will follow through and stop giving them press credentials.

I think Trump should simply stop catering to any liberal news outlet: ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC. Just stop giving them an audience. All they do is twist and turn the truth no matter what. So to hades with them. Let them read Trump’s twitter feed for the latest. Meanwhile, keep Fox on board. Is that biased? You betcha. But nothing says Trump can’t do that. It’s time to muzzle the liberals.

Lucius,
At the press conference Trump would not take a question from CNN whom he called fake news. It was weird. Trump would permit multiple questions from each reporter because he often would just ignore all but one of their questions so by allowing five questions, it gave him an assortment to pick from….lol.

Everyone has values. The question is whether those values line up with the Good.
