“Ideologies are substitutes for true knowledge, and ideologues are always dangerous when they come to power, because a simple-minded I-know-it-all approach is no match for the complexity of existence.”
Jordan Peterson
Hegel remarks somewhere that all great world-historic facts and personages appear, so to speak, twice. He forgot to add: the first time as tragedy, the second time as farce.
Karl Marx, 1852

Justin Trudeau is an indicator that the Canadian electorate is at least as shallow as the crew who put Barack Obama into office.
See Erik v. Kuenheldt-Leddhin on ‘ideology’. He found it’s use as a cuss term puzzling and misconceived, as every person who is carefully questioned will reveal some sort of ideology.
“…a simple-minded I-know-it-all approach is no match for the complexity of existence.”
True, but this instantly reminded me of a caution from GK Chesterton:
“If you argue with a madman, it is extremely probable that you will get the worst of it; for in many ways his mind moves all the quicker for not being delayed by the things that go with good judgment.”
Effeminate self-emasculated nit wit – Justin Trudeau. Sorry. I have nothing profound to say about him.
You nailed it, LQC.
“Men in America” guest was Jordan Peterson last night on the Tucker Carlson show. The segment was the first of three airing on Wednesday nights. The statistics on the decline of the male species was disheartening, Carlson shot down some false statistics about women being minorities. Looking forward to installments 2 and 3.

As the progeny of a 60s hippie and a flower child now gone to seed, why any surprise in the man-child at all?

That doesn’t describe his mother or his father. His father was an academic hitting on students. Self-centered, sociopathic, supercilious. His mother was a child of Canada’s patriciate, and an example of what happens when comfort and security is not tempered by a sense of duty and propriety.
Art Deco: As I said. The cultural aspects of a movement (the 60’s) often manifest in more hidden ways such as attitudes and sub rosa actions. Trudeau’s parents carried out this function admirably and what they wrought was almost inevitable. I grew up with Sgt. Preston of the Yukon and thought better of Canadians until the ill winds began to blow in from the south.

You’re talking in riddles.
