One of the hilarious aspects of the concluded Kavanaugh hearings was the contention by very loosely wired Leftists on social media that Zina Bash, a former law clerk of Brett Kavanaugh, who sat behind him during the hearings, was giving a white power signal, which leftists contend is the “OK” hand sign. The ancestry of Mrs. Bash consists of Mexicans and Jews who fled from the Holocaust. The next day Mrs. Bash, obviously a woman of spirit, engaged in a little trolling.
My favorite comment about this exercise in Leftist insanity was made by a normal man, who remarked that he had noticed Zina Bash, who is a rather attractive lady, but he hadn’t been paying any attention to her hands.
However, perhaps I have been too harsh on the Left. There are examples of notorious race-baiters using the “OK ” symbol:
I added “leftist insanity” to my “Redundancies List.”
My heart was less-than-warmed this past Wednesday when I was sat in traffic behind a Prius with a 2012 Obama sticker.
That’s weird. I wonder how many jumping up and down about this said the whole Nike thing was trivial.
I wonder if the folks are “falling” for the 4chan fraud of it being a white power symbol because they know the news will just say “white power symbol,” not “the OK sign”?
You recall the dumpster dive through Ashley Kavanaugh’s office e-mails? Both AP and the Sulzberger Birdcage Liner requested them. A generation ago, the daily print sources distributed nationally were the Associated Press, United Press International. the Gannett News Service, the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and The Christian Science Monitor. Three of these are a shell of their former selves and two are now oppo research subcontractors for the Democratic Party. Without a doubt, their employees continue to think well of themselves.
Art-
I’m still horrified at how many papers are unmarked AP or Reuters feed items, with local weather and maybe a local letters page.
Foxfier, that’s ok. We’re all supposed to get our news on the internet (and it is a lot cheaper). BTW, my wife was sad to learn that Pittsburgh will no longer have a paper newspaper. Her dad was a writer, columnist (Pulitzer prize winner for the Justice Black Klan membership story) for the Post-Gazette.

They have to think well of themselves, nobody else does.
