Predictable

Well, if one woman won’t kill the Kavanaugh nomination, try two:

The woman at the center of the story, Deborah Ramirez, who is fifty-three, attended Yale with Kavanaugh, where she studied sociology and psychology. Later, she spent years working for an organization that supports victims of domestic violence. The New Yorker contacted Ramirez after learning of her possible involvement in an incident involving Kavanaugh. The allegation was also conveyed to Democratic senators by a civil-rights lawyer. For Ramirez, the sudden attention has been unwelcome, and prompted difficult choices. She was at first hesitant to speak publicly, partly because her memories contained gaps because she had been drinking at the time of the alleged incident. In her initial conversations with The New Yorker, she was reluctant to characterize Kavanaugh’s role in the alleged incident with certainty. After six days of carefully assessing her memories and consulting with her attorney, Ramirez said that she felt confident enough of her recollections to say that she remembers Kavanaugh had exposed himself at a drunken dormitory party, thrust his penis in her face, and caused her to touch it without her consent as she pushed him away. Ramirez is now calling for the F.B.I. to investigate Kavanaugh’s role in the incident. “I would think an F.B.I. investigation would be warranted,” she said.

Go here to read the rest.  If Kavanaugh’s nomination is torpedoed over this rubbish, based upon drunken recollections from 35 years ago, expect the Democrats to do this to every Trump nominee to the Supreme Court.  In the current atmosphere the Democrats would come up with women to make false allegations against Saint Thomas More.

This will happen wherever there are white conservative Christian men in politics or industry. These liberal women will do anything to destroy them. Mark my words. None of us are safe from them any longer. None of us.

This is another reason Grassley should have ignored the Ford accusation given its timing. When will our side ever learn?

Why would any self respecting coed attend a drinking game party? And we’re told Ivy League women are the smartest of the smart.
Coed dorms are nothing but trouble.

This is what comes of Grassley bending over backwards to accommodate leftists who only care about winning regardless of the costs.

Gang Rape claim surfaces – Avenatti claims ‘evidence’ of Kavanaugh and Mark Judge ‘targeting’ women with alcohol and drugs for gang rape parties with a train of men at house parties in DC.
Avenatti (Stormy Daniels’ attorney) emailed the above accusation in detail to the senate committee chief counsel.
More stalling tactics. These Dems are frantic.

If the GOP let themselves get rolled on this, I’m going Benedict Option.

And I HATE the Benedict Option. It’s a losers game that thinks you can win by opting not to play. Except YOU DON’T HAVE A CHOICE except to play. Because the other side won’t let you opt out.

When and where is our protest march on Washington?

I realize that Republicans tend not to do this sort of thing (or pay others to do it for them as the Democrats do) but this is the end of the line. I’m ready to take time off and go, and others who are able to should as well. But I’ve seen no call from people with platforms to call for, and organize one. And this inaction is silencing our voice in this matter.

This man and his family are being destroyed by calumny. And the next conservative man or woman will be put through the same process. It’s time it stop.

Burden of proof?
Am I mistaken but it’s up to the accuser to prove they indeed were wronged?
So in the process, time slips by as Midterms are approaching.
Could this (another) investigation be conducted and reported before the beginning of November?

I’m subbing for a friend, holy hour 3am- 4am, asking Jesus for help in this matter. He will help the Kavanaugh’s and His America. He can do it. When no one can make a way, He can.

From Pope John XXIII, concluding prayer to St. Joseph;
Teach those you protect that they do not labor alone.
Teach them how to find Jesus near them, to greet Him with grace, and to guard Him faithfully, as you have done.
Grant that in every family, in every factory and place of work- wherever a Christian labors- all may grow in charity, patience, justice, and in seeking to do right, so that a flood of gifts may descend from heaven. Amen.

Seeking to do what’s right!
A flood of gifts.
This was the first prayer I cut in my Catholic Prayer Book by Fr. John Hardon, S.J.

I’m sharing this because it’s our duty to pray.
St. Joseph is strong before the throne of Jesus.
Let’s bombard St. Joseph to support Kavanaugh if indeed he is being wronged.
May his accusers do the right thing and recant their stories for the sake of their own souls and those countless little one’s who’s life might be spared by Judge Kavanaugh’s appointment. Seeking for justice, help us St. Joseph.

He should have picked Amy Barrett. Then what would they be doing? We’d see the whole #MeToo movement go up in smoke. If Kavanaugh is sent to the chopping block, perhaps that should be Trump’s course of action.

Das dicke ende commt nach.

On Wednesday morning, Soros’ breathless, justly-outraged surrogates will reveal that in on pick a day, in pick a month, in pick a year, Judge Kavanaugh kidnapped and ate one each transgender, black baby girl.

The calumnious crap show is a massive attempt to repudiate the 2016 Election. Appointing brilliant, rational justices like Gorsuch and BK is a main reason I voted Trump.

When President Trump nominates Amy Coney Barrett you will be treated to the on-steroids “Catholics Need Not Apply” show.

The left couldn’t win the executive or legislative branches in the election. So, by dishonest, undemocratic means they think they can seize the judiciary.

And, killing babes/keeping abortion is the motive behind the liberal dishonesty and guerrilla theater.

What are you prepared to do?

Viva Cristo Rey!

Someone with a public voice should remind the NeverTrump tools who’ve been dithering over these dumps from the Democratic Party’s oppo research staff that incentives matter. If Flake and Collins had been sensible and just said, “36 years ago? Story protean and so structured that what happened could be readily misrepresented and never proven or refuted? Cribs from Mark Judge’s 20 year old memoir? Sorry, can’t be bothered” this would have evaporated, of future interest only to tools on the Jane Meyer – Marcy Wheeler axis.

Fair enough, Dave, but I’m hoping that Trump’s saving her for when RBG retires.

This would’ve come out the morning of a vote if Grassley had charged forward– and now anybody who is capable of considering the situation is asking “why now?”
They’re also taking note of how the Dems handled these claims. They have evidence that the guy is a sexual predator…and they set on it. TWICE?

Yeah, ain’t nobody taking this seriously. It’s red meat for the fanatics on the left.

Yeah, ain’t nobody taking this seriously. It’s red meat for the fanatics on the left.

The trouble is the fanaticism goes all the way down. The next time I encounter a Democrat with an opinion who identifies this sh!t show for what it is will be the first. Critical distance is now less than zero in the Democratic Party, as is respect for procedural norms and courtesies.

What, you walk around interrogating random people? Or go off of what the activists on line say?

Because you’d have to be exceptionally stupid to be a liberal, online, and speak up against this– or insanely brave. We KNOW what happens when you break ranks. If you’re lucky, you’re only ostracized.

For the accusation, only 25% of women (the group most passionate about the topic, and most likely to be a Dem) think the accusations are even credible— of a sample that’s going off of the TV media, and responding to Freaking Huffington Post surveys.
The whole circus is within the margin of error for having any effect at all. (opposition and support stuck in the low 30s)

Heck, only 53% of Dems think the claim is even credible! Not true, but not obvious balloon juice!

And that’s not just huff’n’puff, but YouGov– AKA, those guys who do incredibly biased web surveys to get media attention.

Even they couldn’t get a higher number than that?

Yes, Foxfier, I participate in other discussion groups. None of the usual suspects break ranks on this question, though they wouldn’t be penalized by anything worse than the sort of rude words they spew normally. And, yes, we have a Fakebook account and we have relatives. Our Republican friends (including the one who is married to a congressional aide) post pictures of their grandchildren, their desserts, and inspirational sayings. There’s one who offers a lighthearted political joke now and again. Our Democrat friends offer an avalanche of political commentary betwixt and between pictures of their grandchildren, their dessert &c. One couple will offer as many as 10 posts a day between the husband and the wife, all stupid memes, John Oliver clips &c. (Quondam co-workers, now retired). That’s the level at which they think. Last night’s offering was from a collateral relation who has taken up sectarian political discussion in his old age.

So, as I pointed out– you’re going off the activists online. The sort that took the name “social justice WARRIOR” based on spewing those nasty words.

Of course it’s enough to keep them inline. I’ve seen the chicken-like mobbing of folks on the left who go a bit outside of the line– social pressure is a big thing for most folks.
