Late Thursday night, the Wall Street Journal reported that Leland Keyser, a friend of Dr. Fords, “felt pressured by Dr. Ford’s allies to revisit her initial statement that she knew nothing about an alleged sexual assault by a teenage Brett Kavanaugh, which she later updated to say that she believed but couldn’t corroborate Dr. Ford’s account, according to people familiar with the matter.”

On Thursday, a day after sending to the White House the report on its investigation into the allegations against Judge Kavanaugh, the FBI sent the White House and Senate an additional package of information that included text messages from Ms. McLean to Ms. Keyser, according to a person familiar with the matter.
Ms. McLean’s lawyer, David Laufman, said in a statement: “Any notion or claim that Ms. McLean pressured Leland Keyser to alter Ms. Keyser’s account of what she recalled concerning the alleged incident between Dr. Ford and Brett Kavanaugh is absolutely false.”
Ms. Keyser’s lawyer on Sept. 23 said in a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee that she had no recollection of attending a party with Judge Kavanaugh, whom she said she didn’t know. That same day, however, she told the Washington Post that she believed Dr. Ford. On Sept. 29, two days after Dr. Ford and the judge testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Ms. Keyser’s attorney sent a letter to the panel saying his client wasn’t refuting Dr. Ford’s account and that she believed it but couldn’t corroborate it.
A person close to the former classmates said it was her understanding that mutual friends of Dr. Ford and Ms. Keyser, including Ms. McLean, had contacted Ms. Keyser after her initial statement to warn her that her statement was being used by Republicans to rebut the allegation against Judge Kavanaugh. The friends told Ms. Keyser that if she had intended to say she didn’t remember the party—not that it had never happened—that she should clarify her statement, the person said, adding that the friends hadn’t “pressured” Ms. Keyser.
Ms. McLean is Monica McLean, a former FBI agent, the same woman, the alleged lifelong best friend of Christine Blasey Ford, who, according to a former boyfriend of Ford, Ford coached back in the nineties on how to take a polygraph test, Ms. Ford of course at the hearing last week feigned no knowledge at all about polygraphs. Go here to read the statement by the former boyfriend. During her testimony last week I suspected that Ms. Ford was simply a wack job. My suspicion of an orchestrated hit against Brett Kavanaugh rises by the hour.
The Dems hoped additional time would shed more light on the non-event in question. They are getting their wish. Unfortunately the truth won’t change the minds of 40%+ of Americans.

If McLean was taught by Ford how to take or beat a polygraph test and McLean used that knowledge when taking a test in application for the FBI or while an agent…. that is a very serious accusation for both Ford and McLean. Additionally perjury charge for Ford.
My wager about Blasey is that she’s a standard-issue Bay Area professional-class type, but has certain properties. (1) She grew up in the DC suburbs; (2) she read Mark Judge’s memoirs, for about the same reason I’ve read biographical literature about Philip Seymour Hoffman; (3) she’s committed enough to concoct cock-and-bull stories; (4) her husband is committed enough or whipped enough to help her; (5) there are people around her with technical skill to help her in various ways (e.g. scrubbing her online presence, which Scott Adams thinks required the assistance of Google employees); (6) she her self as a clinical psychologist is practiced at studied artifice and evasion. All this came over the transom to Eshoo and Feinstein, who had an idea of how to exploit this and put her in the care of Debra Katz to see to it that it was done. Some of the people coming out of the woodwork have been useful (Roche), some embarrassing distractions (Avenatti / Swetnick).
What she isn’t is a whack job, at least not in the conventional sense of that term. Her life since 1984 has been too orderly for that to be the case. Julia Swetnick is a whack job. Both, of course, are deceitful, but the vibe is completely different.
And, of course, were Blasey a politically convenient target, some permanent government denizen in U.S. Attorney’s office in DC would have her indicted for perjury. Since she’s helpful to the Democratic Party, that won’t happen.
Keyser’s statement was the most damning because she said she wasn’t acquainted with BK. Christopher Garrett’s statement hasn’t been released or summarized, but we can surmise it wasn’t helpful to Blasey. If he said he did not introduce her to his circle of friends, the notion that she ever knew any of these people (apart from their appearance in Judge’s memoirs) implodes completely.

Boyfriend statement’s is under oath. Dr. Ford as many of us suspected is a fraud. Interesting to see if or what action is taken after Kavanaugh is confirmed.
Like Anita Hill, Christine Blasey Ford will become another iconic martyr of the Left, invited to DNC conventions, university campuses, speaking events art symposiums.
And watch the little-girl-voice magically ‘go away’ then.
The coke bottle bottom glasses were a nice touch to make Ford look vulnerable ( think Hillary with her stroke glasses). Most would have worn contacts supplemented with reading glasses. That combined with the floppy- hide- your face hairdo, washed out make-up, and childish voice was part of the vulnerable young victim shtick and it worked.
