As we approach the midterm elections in November, political prognosticators will be pontificating more than usual. Take everything they say, and that includes me, with a boulder of salt. As the above video indicates, if 2016 taught us anything it is that no political prognosticators have the charism of infallibility.
*dryly* While histrionics are generally associated with higher pitches, that’s not what “going higher” means.
Yeah, we’re in serious Strange Times.
Did someone say Dinosaurs on a Spaceship? Tom Hanks should beware what happens in Dr. Who’s universe:

I have very little faith in polls. Now, I’m in Western Pennsylvania. Pelosi’s little Dudley Do-Right, Connor Lamb, is apparently up on Keith Rothfus. Taxing Tommy Wolf, he who always wants to stick it to the natural gas industry in Western Pennsylvania so he can give money to Philadelphia, has a weak opponent. Bob Casey becomes aware of his existence long enough to run ads scaring old folks with “my opponent will cut Social Security and Medicare” lies. Therefore, my vote will mean nothing. It’s up to the rest of the nation.
