Go here to read all about it.  Defamation in the age of the Social Justice Warriors has become a blood sport.  Funny thing about blood sports, sometimes the supposed prey becomes the hunter.  This should get very interesting very fast.

To make one thing clear which I wasn’t at first but then someone pointed out to me: these are NOT lawsuits against these parties yet, just warnings of “do not delete ANYTHING.” Quite a lot of those folks may be completely free and clear of any wrong doing because of the 1st amendment.

BUT, I could also see a few of them not realizing this and going on a delete spree anyway. Which would then make them guilty of a process crime, right Donald? Guilty of the same thing Mueller has been getting the Trump crew on.

If THAT ends up happening I may die of laughter & irony overdose.

GOOD!

Seen at Instapundit, “I hope Mr. Sandmann becomes rich and does not lose his faith.”

They need to pay. Can anyone identify the date when the lying media [redundant] ceased pretending to practice journalism?

The Diocese of Lexington is particularly interesting.
Speaking of which.
Bishop Stowe is happy to provide links to his hot takes on all sorts of issues. But for some reason, New York’s new abortion law has escaped the pundit treatment.

I see groups and individuals listed; I’m a little surprised Bishop Stowe and the others were not listed. Surely it doesn’t make sense to sue the diocese and not the bishop? Perhaps they are still being considered?

Jann Wenner or Wenner Publications (Rolling Stone) seems to be absent from the list.
Though did not McMurty state that this list is for his letters concerning the “unfortunate incident” and that Lin Woods is also sending out letters?

I think that this list is only a start. This is a target rich enviornment.

Where do we donate. I feel absolutely certain there are many people who would be happy to pony up at least $20.00 each to help out the Covington kids. Ream these people a new one.

I have read elsewhere that by agreeing to a televised interview
after the media lynching had boiled over, Covington student
Nick Sandmann became a public figure, and therefore his
lawyers would now have to prove malice for his suit to succeed.
That doesn’t seem sensible to me– after all, it was the
defamation that made him a public figure in the first place–
but then, I’m not a lawyer.

What is your take on that question, Mr. McClarey?

That is excellent to hear, Mr. McClarey. Excellent.

I read somewhere that there is a team of attorneys for Nick Sandmann who are continuing to very carefully review videos. This is definitely not a complete list.

Here’s something I didn’t know.

From the Catholic Herald (in the UK),
“March for Life president Jeanne Mancini also issued a statement that same day saying the encounter did not represent her organization or “the vast majority of the marchers” and that the students’ behavior is not welcome at the march and never will be.

The next day, March for Life said in a tweet it had deleted its original tweet about the students “given recent developments.”

Who would have thought that the March for Life president would have ALSO thrown them under the bus? She should KNOW that the “media” would distort the truth for a political agenda.

That is how touchy people have become on being portrayed as PC by the media. These people are literally afraid of the media’s portrayal of them and they try to head them off at the pass by making off hand comments BEFORE being asked by the media what they have to say about such and such a thing. As always, people then jump the gun without caring for the facts hoping they are right and are generally wrong in their judgement.

We have to wake up. The media will NEVER portray pro-lifers in a good light no matter what we do or say, so do and say the right thing come what may. The media will never portray the President in a good light and what does he do? He plows ahead not showing any care of what the media thinks of him. We have to ask ourselves who is the media and why do we give them so much of our time? They are no better than us and they are NOT the ones that will save this world or our souls. Drop them like a lead balloon. It is just not worth worrying what the media thinks. Because they don’t worry about you.
