PopeWatch: The Magisterium of the Sixties.

From Lifesite News:

Professor Peter Hünermann – a well-connected and prominent German theologian – has told LifeSiteNews that, according to members of the German bishops’ doctrinal commission who spoke to him, the report of the Vatican commission on female deacons found that “there is no historical evidence that in the patristics women were ordained as deacons.”

In a recent interview in Germany, Professor Hünermann spoke about this Vatican commission on the history of female deacons that had been established, in 2016, by Pope Francis. This commission has ended its work and gave Pope Francis, already in mid-2018, its report. Professor Hünermann commented on the fact that Pope Francis “has withheld the results for months now,” saying that this “is a sign for me that he does not agree with this statement as it stands.”

When LifeSiteNews reached out to the German theologian, asking him for more information on this matter, he answered, saying that “Professor [Marianne] Schlosser of Vienna – a student of then-Professor Ratzinger [and a member of the Vatican female deacon commission] – informed the German doctrinal commission about the results of this study [of the commission]. This I learned from members of the doctrinal commission.” He further explained that the “result of the Roman commission” is: “there is no historical evidence that in the patristics women were ordained as deacons.”

As Professor Hünermann explained, this position had been earlier held by Cardinal Gerhard Müller – the former head of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith in Rome – as well as by Professor Karl-Heinz Menke, who was a member of this 2016 Vatican commission on the female diaconate. As LifeSiteNews reported, Menke had said, in 2016: “A female diaconate has nowhere and never participated in the office transmitted by ordination.”

Professor Hünermann also pointed out to LifeSiteNews that “I assume that Cardinal [Luis] Ladaria as the president of this [2016 Vatican] commission shares this position.” Hünermann himself is in favor of a female diaconate and has discussed this position in a 2012 academic article.

Go here to read the rest.  Of course, as his stance on the death penalty indicates, Pope Francis cares not a fig about what came before him in the history of the Church.  I suspect that he views his role in the Church more like that of the Mormon Prophet in the Mormon church, the receiver of continuing revelations. This would be disastrous at any time, but it is especially perilous as the current Pope is a lazy and chaotic thinker who moves in a thought world of Leftist cliches popular circa 1965-1970.  The Magisterium of the Sixties.

If the professor is correct and Frank ambiguously twists up a flimsy approach to qualify the future practice of ordaining female deacons then let the Holy Catholic Church descend upon him as being a heretic..a false Pope..and move forward.

His loyalty in question.

Christ v. Liberal progressive theology.

Every prayer, regardless of the outcome, is not a waist of time nor is it fruitless.
God hears us and our plea’s. His ways are most definitely not our ways and as previously stated by commentors on TAC, a chastisement in the form of a heretical leader is well upon us.

Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, please help Our Holy Church navigate through these muddy waters of relativism.

Gender identity (female and male or now whatever, 72 news ones not even created by God) reduces man, men and women, to the level of the animals, pack animals, beasts of burden to whomever is being the current tyrant.
In Genesis God created them, mankind, male and female but first God created man, then God created them to be defined as male and female.
The Commission of female deacons could then ordain female dogs and cats. Only men have vocations. Vocations to ordination come from God, not the Pope.
“A female diaconate has nowhere and never participated in the office transmitted by ordination.”
The finding nevertheless has instilled in the people the concept of people being less than human, of man being simply animals without sovereign personhood.
The sovereign persons made in the image and likeness of The Supreme Sovereign Being are bandied about like animals without recourse to “their Creator”.
God gave Adam the power to name all creatures. Without having a name a female is an animal. Court proceeding cannot be accomplished without a named person but here we have “A Vatican commission on female diaconate” No way.

I agree with the professor that the pontiff is most likely quite unhappy with the report. He’s probably awaiting a minority report to work from.

It feels like HV, only in reverse.
