The ultimate accolade was perhaps paid to Blessed Angelo of Chivasso when his Summa Angelica was publicly burned by Martin Luther on December 10, 1520, along with the Bull excommunicating Luther, the Summa Theologica of Saint Thomas Aquinas and the Code of Canon Law. Good company indeed.
