Schadenfreude

Feel good story of the day:

A student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill was arrested for larceny last month after she was caught on video taking a sign belonging to pro-life activists. The arrest arrives just days after the arrest of a UNC-Chapel Hill student accused of physically assaulted a pro-life activist after allegedly getting angry over his sign.

A student at UNC-Chapel Hill was arrested after taking a sign from a pro-life activist. The sign read, “Warning: abortion victim photos ahead.” The sign belonged to the pro-life group, Created Equal, which describes itself as “a social action movement seeking to end the greatest human rights injustice of our time [abortion].”

Go here here to read the rest.  I am shocked, shocked that a movement dedicated to killing kids in the womb attracts activists who tend to be entitled brats who think that laws do not apply to them.  Have fun explaining your arrest record to mommy and daddy, honey.

I read about this yesterday and all I can say is that the professors who tell these kids they can shut anyone down they disagree with are the ones who should be going to jail. I’ve had it with those cowards hiding behind their tenure and sending kids who know no better to do their dirty work.

The profs are all a bunch of Charlie Mansons enjoying a captive audience of ignorant kids and indulging in their past activism through the manipulation of kids and make no mistake, they are kids. Those kids did not grow up like the majority of us did. They got shafted by a society of leftist who know mind control. Yes, the kids are responsible for their actions but those who put them up to those actions ought to pay also.

I’m sorry but I cannot enjoy seeing this girl so totally clueless and being punished for her ignorance yet she needs to be.

There is no evidence that anyone put this woman up to taking that sign from the video. It appears she did it with malice, motive, & purpose. Her self righteous denouncement & attempted deal making with the cop while he is trying to do her job says all we need to know about her character. She even lied at first & told the cop she had no ID. He had to ask more than once to get it from her. I loved & thouroughly enjoyed the video. This woman is far from a victim. In fact, she was victimizing others–along with the unborn babies.

Spending the night in jail has been very helpful to thousands of others just like you hon. It will do you some good. Learn from it.

I’m shocked she got arrested. I think people are getting fed up with confirming to the left and being told what to think and not being able to openly express their convictions- or in this case- the truth. There seems to be many instances of late where it’s back-firing on them big time. Gives you hope.

I was wondering about her past.
I wondered if she had an abortion.
I wondered if she tried to bury the deed deep away from her conscience.
I wondered if the signs reignited her grief of making a horrible mistake, one that cannot be undone.
Forgiven but never forgotten.

Yes. The wages of sin is death.
And with this death of baby and death of spirit a hatred for self manifests.

I hope she gets help if indeed my assumptions are correct. A night in jail but a lifetime in a mental prison.
No parole unless she is introduced to the only one who can free her, forgive her and heal her. Jesus help us all.

This incident is the 2nd arrest made on campus in recent weeks for pro-abort students criminal actions against pro-life activists. Both UNC students. I say that is pretty good evidence that what they hear in the classroom helped them along into thinking they had the moral right to assault anyone they disagree with. In this case, pro-lifers.

She was probably brought up with these beliefs that’s why she felt entitled to behave like this and shocked when arrested. I blame her upbringing more than the classroom teacher. The behaviour just gets worse when they try to defend the indefensible.

The faculty are a bad influence. However, this particular campus is what’s called a ‘Public Ivy’. It’s a reasonable wager (not a slam dunk) that this youth is a child of the professional-managerial bourgeoisie, and that class in society has certain common attitudes (see some of Christopher Lasch’s writings on the subject). About 20 years ago, Maggie Gallagher put it thus, “Even if they themselves are past the point where unexpected childbearing looms as a major lifestyle threat, suburban moms who drive their kids around in SUVs are passionately for abortion, because they see it as being just as necessary to maintaining orderly lives (and passing on their class status to their kids) as Weed-B-Gon and a house in a good school district. ” That’s a bit flippant, of course. Every one’s family is different, of course, but if you’re playing the averages, you put your money on the proposition that this young woman learned these attitudes at home.

Again, that is an assumption–not evidence. It my just be evidence that their campus police have decided to enforce the law.
