Per Aspera ad Astra

[13] Enter ye in at the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there are who go in thereat. [14] How narrow is the gate, and strait is the way that leadeth to life: and few there are that find it! [15] Beware of false prophets, who come to you in the clothing of sheep, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Matthew 7: 13-15

  1. That Teddy quote sounded familiar….I think it was this:
    The greatest adventure is there if you’re bold.
    Let go of the moment that life makes you hold.
    To measure the meaning can make you delay;
    It’s time you stop thinkin’ and wasting the day.

    The man who’s a dreamer and never takes leave
    Who thinks of a world that is just make-believe
    Will never know passion, will never know pain.
    Who sits by the window will one day see rain.

  2. Of all the presidents, T.R. is the one I most admire. A progressive but thoroughly conservative. He knew the lesson of Paul to the Romans quite well: “There is not one among us in whom a devil does not dwell; at some time, on some point, that devil masters each of us… It is not having been in the Dark House, but having left it, that counts.”
