  1. If the powers that be who own the Star Trek franchise had any sense,

….they would be printing money in the form of officially licensed android interfaces? Decent movies? Get Netflix to churn out mini-series by the gross?

  2. since Shatner told rabid fans to get a life.

The rabid fans gave DeForest Kelly and income for 20+ years. James Doohan too.

Kelly died in 1999. The urban legend has it that it says on his tombstone, “He’s Dead, Jim”.
