Clueless Leftist is a Tautology

This made my day:

Just like D-Day.

There’s a BBQ Joint in D.C. that opened under President Bush called Hill Country BBQ. Having eaten there many times, I’ll give it the Bonchie seal of approval. It lives up to it’s billing as a very good representation of Texas pit BBQ.

Given it’s food styling, it draws in one of the more diverse crowds in the area and it was no surprise that some Trump supporters decided to eat there after the Fourth of July festivities on the National Mall.

One of those people happened to be wearing a MAGA hat and this apparently triggered the crap out of some liberal dude who describes himself as a “progressive communicator.”

He’s protected his Twitter due to the sheer ratio he’s been receiving, so I can’t embed the actual tweets.

Just got thrown out of Hill Country DC for standing up to a Nazi. Don’t go there ever again. They support Trump and Nazis. @HillCountryWDC @HillCountryBBQ

Guy wears MAGA hat at my favorite restaurant. I say “hey are you from dc?” He says “no.” I say “we don’t tolerate racism in this city.” His girlfriend then physically jabs fingers into my chest and starts threatening me. Management tells me to leave, not woman who assaulted me.

— TJ Helmstetter (@TheTJHelm) July 5, 2019

I’m literally shaking after reading that.

So the “Nazi” he was confronting was actually just some random guy trying to enjoy his brisket. He offers no evidence (nor does he even try to claim) that the man was acting out in anyway that called for confrontation. This was literally just a liberal being so overly triggered by a hat that he turned into Captain America and walked over to the table. Perhaps funnier is that in the midst of his harassment, the innocent man’s girlfriend punked Helmstetter by telling him to bug off.

Instead of just taking the loss, Helmstetter decided it’d be a good idea to squeal that he was assaulted and run to Twitter with his harrowing story.

Even better, when contacted, the restaurant did the right thing and didn’t kowtow to the possible mob being summoned.

Just called the manager there and his answer was “we are an equal opportunity restaurant who welcomes all political viewpoints” before hanging up on me. cool, except MAGA hats actually make clear that POC and LGBT are not welcome at all.

— TJ Helmstetter (@TheTJHelm) July 5, 2019

And for the record, the Nazi’s girlfriend assualted me by jabbing her fingers into my chest repeatedly, and I simply backed up. Yet I was told to leave, not the Nazi or his Nazi girlfriend.— TJ Helmstetter (@TheTJHelm) July 5, 2019

Actually, POC and LGBT persons are clearly welcome just like everyone else. A red hat is not a threat to anyone nor does it delineate that a person is a “Nazi” simply because they support President Trump. The assumptions being made by this clown are just moronic. How much of a wuss do you have to be to get that worked up over someone quietly eating their dinner?

To clear up his confusion, when you violate someone’s personal space and harass them in a private setting, there is some amount of push back allowed. No one is getting arrested and charged with assault for putting their fingers into your chest and telling you to step back.

Go here to read the rest.  The cowardly would be bully was lucky he was doing this in DC.  I imagine he would have encountered a somewhat stronger reaction to his pc police act in some of the eateries I frequent in Central Illinois.  We have this quaint custom of leaving other people alone while they are trying to eat a meal they have paid for.  As for his being “assaulted” by a girl, his public confession of beta maledom is duly noted.  Oh, it comes as no surprise that this insult to real men everywhere is a former staffer for the Democrat National Committee.

My friend, a simple piece of advice.  When one is a loser as big as you appear to be, that sad fact is best kept to one’s self instead of trumpeting it throughout the internet.

Maybe if his chest wasn’t so puffed up with arrogant righteousness that little lady’s finger wouldn’t have bothered him?

It’s why I don’t wear a MAGA hat or go to demonstrations. If that were me, the nitwit would be twitting from a hospital bed in traction.

“Clueless Leftist”: Not only an oxymoron, it’s a redundancy.

The offender is a former employee of the Democratic National Committee. This is what mainstream Democrats are like these days.

With a few exceptions (public-sector concerns, natural monopolies, situational monopolies, and oligopolies with certain privileges), anti-discrimination law is generally something that should disappear. Liberals, OTOH, fancy anti-discrimination law is a weapon to be used against anyone insufficiently deferential to their mascot groups but not open to defend the interests of anyone else. Which is one reason, among a number of others, that a just society is one in which liberals have no discretion they can exercise over the affairs of normal people.

And, of course, we see yet another example (see Ravelry) where people fancy that political struggles must colonize every sort of human endeavour. And yet another example of people who are too crude and stupid to make sense of the opposition’s actual stances and concerns.

Unfortunately, we live in clown world, and none of this seems to diminish the standing of the Democratic Party one bit among sectors of the population not already part of the opposition. Thanks, millennials.

It would appear from a WhitePages search that the ‘poor lad’ in question is 34 years old. You can bet that he has at least one college degree.

snort
Sounds like somebody’s bubble got popped.
Five bucks says he was attempting to be physically intimidating and pick a fight with the guy, and is deeply upset that chica didn’t behave as a woman ‘properly’ should. Agreeing with the liberal, of course.

Actually, “clueless leftist” would NOT be an oxymoron. An oxymoron is a phrase such as “jumbo shrimp” or “government efficiency” in which the terms used contradict one another. Since leftists really are, for the most part, clueless, there’s no contradiction there…

His LinkedIn profile appears to indicate that despite his profuse self-praising perforations of outstanding progressive campaign savvy and lengthy experience, he is presently <cough, cough> unemployed.

A shame, and quite a surprise.

How many of us would wear a MAGA around town? Of course, that depends on the town but in many places It has become an invitation for abuse. Maybe could be warded off by wearing a T-shirt that says “Keep Calm and Carry Concealed”.

If I wore hats, I’d do it just because they’ve pissed me off…..

The guy went to Twitter? Ha! What a cesspool of liberal leftist rot that forum is! My account there has been suspended for alleged “hate speech” because I told a so-called transgender Katholyck the truth:

“No such thing as a transgender Catholic. To be authentically Catholic is to be a complete man or woman, not a mentally deranged sex pervert. I pray for people afflicted with this.”

My violation was this Twitter rule:

“You may not promote violence against, threaten, or harass other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or serious disease.”

The 1st Amendment protects freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and the right to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. It does NOT protect “gender identity” or “sexual orientation.” Yet what it does protect – that man’s freedom of speech (publicly wearing a MAGA hat) – Twitter and its leftists would prohibit because Twitter doesn’t have to abide by the Constitution even though it will invoke the Constitution to squash conservatives. The more leftist social media marginalizes and silences conservative voices, the worse the backlash will be that leftists will have caused. That’s not what we want, but that’s human nature. And God forbid! – leftists should beware that those whom they squash are ardent advocates of the 2nd Amendment.

LQC,
I would venture a guess that because Twitter is a private entity that it can make it’s own rules of conduct and either enforce them or not at their discretion. It may not be right or in the “spirit” of the law but it is what it is. Don M. can dictate what is acceptable on his blog and what is not acceptable. I’m just absolutely surprised the President hasn’t been banned from Twitter yet.

They have protection from defamation suits as if they were a neutral platform but assiduously edit content. NB, they invest extraordinary efforts into policing content and all of their errors are unidirectional. Take away their unique legal protections. And let’s have an anti-trust suit to force some divestitures. Too many platforms are owned by a small set of colluding companies.

By some account, Obama-era regulators started leaning on banks and finance companies, and the participation of outfits like MasterCard and Patreon in the deplatforming can be explained by that. Then their antitrust people sat back and let Alphabet purchase one thing after another as competing platforms withered. Given the activity of the Obama Justice department since 2010, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to assume all of this was self-conscious and deliberate and likely pitched to the administration by Brin, Zuckerberg, etc. The use of lists drawn up by the $PLC – given that it was exposed by Alabama newspapers in 1995 and Harper’s about five years later – indicates malice.
