Antifa “Martyr”

An Antifa head case was killed over the weekend:

Willem Van Spronsen was an anarchist and anti-fascist from Washington who was fatally shot by police on July 13 while trying to set a fire with incendiary devices during an attack at an ICE detention center in Tacoma. Authorities say Van Spronsen was armed with a rifle and threw “lit objects” at buildings and vehicles in the parking lot of the Northwest Detention Center.

Van Spronsen, a Vashon Island musician affiliated with the Puget Sound Anarchists and local antifa groups, was shot and killed by Tacoma Police officers, the Seattle Times reports. No one else was injured.

Van Spronsen also went by the name Emma Durutti on a now-deleted Facebook profile and on an album titled “the audio manifesto” that was posted to Bandcamp a week before he was killed. While some have said the Emma Durutti name indicated Van Spronsen was trans — and Emma Durutti did post on Facebook in 2018 calling Willem Van Spronsen a dead name — friends of Van Spronsen say he did not identify as trans and used Emma Durutti as a pen name. The nom de plume is a reference to two of Van Spronsen’s inspirations: Emma Goldman, an anarchist activist, and Spanish insurrectionary Buenaventura Durruti.

Go here to read the rest.  Van Sprousen was a piece of work.  I fear his example will not sober his erst while comrades, but rather cause them to emulate his desire to be an Antifa martyr.  Turbulent times ahead in our nation.

Most local news organizations, print & broadcast, refer to this man as a ANTIFA “activist”. This same media refers to those who support a duly elected President of the United States as far right “radicals” and/or extremist. There lies the problem.

A martyr? More like a domestic terrorist.

The anonymity and brutality of Antiifa will only be countered by a dedicated and determined undercover law enforcement effort similar to what was done to the Mob. I just wonder if we have the willpower and courage to tackle this spreading cancer. I sense a spreading feeling of helplessness and futility undercutting our society, a mood that it is impossible to fight back against Antifa or worse, that they are actually doing “good”. Dangerous situation. God bless TAC…

Thank God he chose a target in Tacoma; in Seattle proper the poor SOB that shot the homicidal idiot would be at risk of life, job and health.

Yep, a martyr. Just like St. Peter, who, we recall, was crucified upside down for having led his band of apostles in an assault on the Praetorium with spears, knives, and javelins. “Pontius Pilate made me do it,” he shouted, giving the inverted insurrectionist salute before being nailed.
