News that I missed, courtesy of The Babylon Bee:
WASHINGTON, D.C.—While at a conference this week, Representative Ilhan Omar seemed taken aback by a question she received from an audience member, responding quite angrily to it. The question was “Do you own a ferret?”, a question Omar refused to answer, instead launching into a diatribe on the discrimination she often faces.
“I’m disgusted you would ask me something like that,” Omar said. “You see a woman with my skin color, wearing a hijab, and with some sort of shirt expressing love of ferrets, and based on my appearance you ask me such a question. This is the racism I deal with daily.”
Omar was referring to the shirt she was wearing at the event and had often been seeing wearing at other times, a white t-shirt with the word “I”, a red heart, and “Ferrets” on it. She seemed to think it is that shirt — combined with her race and religion — that causes her to be asked at times whether she owns an animal that is a close relative of the weasel.
Go here to read the rest.
It’s sad that the only reason I can identify this as satire is because I haven’t seen her in a logo shirt.
Approximately 98% of all hate crimes and racism outcries are used to push the vile agenda – wreck America and our way of life. If you call them on it, you are a racist. .
That racist, islamophobic picture needs to be censored (like they erased from history James T. Hodgkinson, Jr. and the WA amateur terrorist that got righteously killed trying to blow up ICE).
It triggers hate and racism among alt-whites and right nationalists.
“Some people did something.” Says it all.
I’d prefer a ferret – even a weasel – to Ilhan Omar. Ferrets make good pets and in the wild can eat mice, rats and other vermin. Long tailed American weasels eat all sorts of vermin and other small animals: mice, rats, squirrels, chipmunks, shrews, moles, rabbits (we have a proliferation thereof in my house development wreaking having on my flowers), and occasionally, small birds, bird eggs, reptiles, amphibians, fish, earthworms and some insects. Very useful creatures – unlike Ilhan Omar.
Seems like a very reasonable question to me. Honestly, I would probably think anyone who has such a shirt is part of a ferret rescue group.
Oops. Babylon Bee. Did not see that.
Today, it is impossible to discuss a public policy issue without spawning a hate tornado.
Representative Ilhan Omar ‘s response demonstrates that she feels superior to her constituents instead of one of us.

The words “hatred” and “racist” can only be defined by the person using them.
Omar’s response treated her constituents with disdain. Omar holds her constituents beneath her contempt.
