Yep. Most see the Left playing with a stacked deck; a rigged game. The press and the Left is, to them, one and the same, like Nurse Ratched from One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. They see the duplicity, collusion, dishonesty, arrogance verging on hubris, and the naked propaganda and lies dedicated to tearing down what they value and replacing it with tyranny, nihilism, debauchery, bigotry and a wanton disregard for the consequences of its own ideals. They see the grandstanding and falsehoods, the BS and idiocy, and those foolishness of those on the Left as they sit around and congratulate themselves for their unwarranted moral and intellectual infallibility and superiority.
They see in Trump someone willing to play as down and dirty and mean as they’ve watched progressives and the Left play for decades. It may take a few beatings. It may take a few punches. But they see Trump come back swinging and, in many cases, winning. And like Elmer in the cartoon, they’re hoping when it’s all over, he will win and put the grand conspiracy against the Christian West in its place. Given what’s at stake, at least on this side of heaven, that’s not bad considering the opposition to God, life and liberty that this emergent Left represents.

I couldn’t vote for Clinton, and I wasn’t happy with Trump. What settled the matter for me was the support of some solid pro-life leaders who said they believed Trump would actually back up his promises with solid pro-life actions (judges, etc.). And Trump did just that – and I pray he gets reelected so that he can solidify the return of the judicial branch to its proper role in our government and away from the inappropriate and unconstitutional activism of the past 30+ years. I am grateful for his pro-life stance and commitments. I am admittedly also befuddled by many of his other political actions and public comments, some of which are cringe-worthy. I can’t tell if he is a genius or lucky or a bit crazy. But, again, as best as I can tell, he is the most pro-life President in the history of this country. I can’t imagine voting for someone else.
Part of me wants to make an archive of all these reactions so when the NEXT republican president is in office, I can enjoy the laugh at all those people who begin talking about how much they miss Trump. How whatever his faults, he still wasn’t as bad as the new guy.
And if you find it unlikely, I will point out (and someone did archive it) that they hated George W Bush back in the day. In fact “Bushitler” was a common online slang easily found.
As someone else said, Trump could have been easily beaten – if they had just treated him like a normal politician. Honest, basic reporting of his actions would have ended his run. Instead they go crazy and… well this comedy sketch is nearly a documentary now:

I know what he is not however. He is NOT a politician and I say amenn to that. We have been groomed with decades and decades of political speak from our elected officials saying one thing, meaning another, and doing something else altogether. They have spit and polish in how the look and saying different things to different people they preach to. Clinton used to dye his hair gray when speaking to a crowd of retirees. Phony baloney.
Trump is not spit and polish. He does NOT speak like a politician and it throws a boatload of people off balance. He is crude, offensive, but loves this country and will stand up to those wanting to destroy it and when they crap all over him he hits them back without reserve. Professional politicians do not and have not done that before. They do not know how to handle him.
He speaks for the unborn like no other and as far as illegal immigration he is upholding the immigration laws that were in place before he came into office. In another words he is defending the constitution and the laws he is sworn to uphold.
I also could never had voted for Moloch/Billery Clinton. We don’t have a saint in office but we have a President.
In the movie “Gettysburg” there is a scene where Private Bucklin presents the grievances of the Maine mutineers to Colonel Chamberlain. His descriptions of the officer corps can very easily be applied to many of the do nothing establishment Republicans, who regularly caved in rather than fight. President Trump may not be as polished as Chamberlain, but Trump’s willingness to fight was and is a breath of fresh air when compared to the empty talking points of so many of the inside the beltway political ranks. For many the sternest act that they could bring themselves to do was the threat to make something a campaign issue.

I recall the Trump Steak sale. I couldn’t believe my eyes. He was pitching his steaks and wine and tied it in to his bid for the oval office perch. It was almost a joke. As mentioned above…a vote for the salesman was one against Hellreee.
He has been a great voice for the oppressed…the unborn.
Trump makes me cringe every time he speaks. He’s got no rhetorical ability whatsoever. And he really doesn’t understand the Constitution, or history or anything like that. But I think he loves America. And the Democrats hate America. I have nothing but contempt and loathing for them. That’s the bottom line.

Trump is just the latest “hitler” – like every republican president before him, and every republican president that will follow. He’s no more fascist than Reagan or either Bush were (arguably even less). Like the boy who cried wolf, most of us have stopped believing the liars. (well, I guess in this metaphor they’re not so much liars as a poor kid who keeps mistaking random shapes in the woods as wolves)
