U.S.—Mayor Pete Buttigieg has come under fire after claiming that life only begins when you register as a Democrat.
“Many conservative ‘Christians’ have bought into this lie that life begins at conception,” Buttigieg said during a radio interview. “This flies in the face of basic biology, which teaches us that life begins when you register as a Democrat.”
Buttigieg went on to say that women can kill their children all the way up until the point when they choose to register as a Democrat since they are not humans up until that “miraculous moment.”
“There’s a lot of parts of the Bible that talk about how life begins with that first vote you cast,” he went on. “Even that is something that we can interpret differently from those dumb, backward Christians who insist on a literal, biological definition of life. But most sensible Americans can get on board with the idea of, ‘I might draw the line at voting for a far-left candidate, you might draw the line at the point when that first registration card is sent in.'”
“The important thing is that we arbitrarily declare when a person becomes a person,” he added.

Of course his late father was a Marxist professor at Notre Dame, so perhaps he comes by his lunacy, and utter indifference to human suffering, through both nurture and nature.
The fact that dead people vote democrat is the clearest proof of life after death we’ll ever have on this side of eternity.

It appears as if St. PetieB missed the Bible parts about “go forth and multiply,” “Thou Shalt Not Kill,” “Thou Shalt Not Bear False Witness,” Sodom and Gomorrah, etc.
Don’t know that he’s comically incompetent. However, any core city mayor has one job ‘ere all others: contain and reduce the quantum of street crime. Both Booty-gig and Bory Cooker failed to do this. If anything, security deteriorated on their watch. Cooker has an excuse in that his municipality is a tiny fragment of an urban glob that has 18 million people living in it, one with a denuded tax base and a large lumpenproletariat; county government, not municipal government is the proper locus of police services in New Jersey. Booty-gig has no such excuse. The dense settlement in St. Joseph County, Indiana has a population just shy of 200,000 and a majority live in the core city. Core cities don’t typically capture nearly that much of the local tax base in the Rustbelt (in the town I grew up in, about 1/3 of the population and maybe 1/4 of the tax base is found in the core city). Given the demographics of the commuter belt as a whole and applying some rules of thumb, South Bend run according to business-as-usual principles should have a homicide rate of around 9 per 100,000. Run according to Giuliani-Bratton principles, it should have a rate shy of 5 per 100,000. The homicide rate during Booty-gig’s tenure has bounced around 14 or 15 per 100,000 and, again, the situation has deteriorated during his time in office.
There are other problems with him. The media do no due diligence, so no one’s attempted to verify his claim of exceptional language facility. Reviewing his capsule biographies, one grasps for an explanation of just where therein would he have had the time or been in the circumstances where he would acquire a facility in seven languages. His contention that he learned ‘Norwegian’ to read one book raises more questions as there are multiple layers of dialect in Norway and multiple literary versions in circulation. I have a suspicion that if you unpacked this, you’d find a fabrication so brazen it could be topped only by Joe Biden.
This fellow Glezman he’s appended to sounds like gitchy-goo clown, so it’s no surprise he finds employment as a schoolteacher. Glezman’s family is (on the surface) rather more appealing than Glezman or Booty-gig and don’t read from the media’s preferred script.

There’s something that doesn’t ring true about that aspect of his account of himself, either, and I would wager it’s as contrived as the other strands of his supposed biography. Don’t expect Ben Rhodes’ 27-year-olds-who-know-nothing (or the employees of Ben Rhodes’ brother) to ask to many questions about that.
