A picture is worth a 1,000 words. This sculpture is for how many millions of children?
Every time I see or read this particular gospel passage it makes me weep internally. Last year when Ireland introduced their radical permissive abortion law, I preached a reflection on the Monday morning liturgy: – ” There was voice heard in Eira – of weeping and lamentation and great mourning; it was Erin weeping for her children, for they were no more”.
I tear up as I write this………..
What could be more satanic Don than abortion that puts mothers at war with their children. This, above all, is a subject worthy of human tears.
