The Plot Sickens

I have never thought much of the intelligence of Joe Biden, but if he did set this up he is much more foolish than even I thought.

The 2020 Democratic candidate with whom the CIA whistleblower had a “professional” tie is Joe Biden, according to intelligence officers and former White House officials.

Lawyers for the whistleblower said he had worked only “in the executive branch.” The Washington Examiner has established that he is a career CIA analyst who was detailed to the National Security Council at the White House and has since left. On Sept. 26, the New York Times reported that he was a CIA officer. On Oct. 4, the newspaper added that he “was detailed to the National Security Council at one point.”

Michael Atkinson, the Intelligence Community’s inspector general, told members of Congress that the whistleblower had a “professional tie” to a 2020 Democratic candidate. He had written earlier that while the whistleblower’s complaint was credible, he had shown “some indicia of an arguable political bias … in favor of a rival political candidate.”

A retired CIA officer told the Washington Examiner, “From everything we know about the whistleblower and his work in the executive branch then, there is absolutely no doubt he would have been working with Biden when he was vice president.”

Go here to read the rest.  Thanks Joe.  Trump supporters everywhere appreciate your service to the cause.

  1. Biden is a list, but then he’s a Democrat, so I’m being redundant. He is a chest, a serial groper, a plagiarizer and a sleazebag…qualities the Clintons demonstrated for decades. He was a six term senator in a one party state because of Wilmington, which is Delaware”s Philadelphia. I don’t that Biden would have been a 36 year senator had he stayed in Scranton. (Bob Casey, who becomes aware of his existence once every six years, has become that career Senator from Scranton, but that is another story). Trump, for all his faults, fights back. The Drehers of this world, whiners who hide under rocks and act above it all, are put off. I respect a man who stands up for what is right.

  2. Diversion.
I refuse to believe an “intelligence” officer (and a friend of Joe?) didn’t realize this wouldn’t backfire on Joe. It’s a two birds (Biden & Trump) with one stone exercise. Who and what was really behind it?

Republicans were quite competitive in Delaware as recently as 25 years ago. IIRC, < 10% of the population of Delaware lives in Wilmington. A slight majority of the population lives in the tract development in the northern half of New Castle County, which is in essence a part of Greater Philadelphia.

I have a suspicion that in Delaware politics, most of life is showing up. Michael Castle had a four-decade long career in the state legislature and Congress, then gets knocked out of office by Christine O’Donnell (who is not someone at peace with herself and is fairly bereft of personal accomplishment). I’m figuring its because she’s the only Republican to offer more than a token campaign against him.
