Precipice

Trump Derangement Syndrome in full blossom.  Christopher Johnson at Midwest Conservative Journal gives us the details;

 

ARMAGEDDON

If you ever wanted to kill not only the United States Constitution but the whole concept of the United States itself, I can’t think of a better way to do it than this.

If the Trump era has taught us anything, it’s that large numbers of white people in the United States are motivated at least in part by racism in the voting booth. Donald Trump ran an openly racist campaign for president, calling Mexicans rapists and criminals, regularly retweeting white supremacists and at least initially balking at repudiating former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke. Trump made it clear in his campaign that “Make America Great Again” meant that America was greater when white people’s power was more sweeping and more secure. White voters approved of that message by a whopping 58 percent to 37 percent.

Some politicians deny the evidence, no doubt because they don’t want to alienate white voters, including prejudiced ones. Other commentators try to parse whether Trump’s racism will be a winning strategy in 2020. Terry Smith, a visiting professor at the University of Baltimore School of Law, offers a different response in his new book, “Whitelash: Unmasking White Grievance at the Ballot Box.” Rather than excuse racist voters or try to figure out how to live with their choices, he argues that racist voting is not just immoral, but illegal. The government, Smith says, has the ability, and the responsibility, to address it.

This is never ever going to happen but if it did, if a legal election was ever invalidated because of the claimed motivation of the people who voted the “wrong” way, that would literally be the end of the United States of America as any of you have known it.  What would be the motivation for me or anyone else to continue to observe any laws Washington passed about anything?

Would a new “Confederate States of America” result?  Probably not.  Five, six, seven new nations might result.  Or 30 to 40, depending.  Some of these new nations might form some kind of protective association with one another that the media would no doubt label “Confederate States” but it really wouldn’t be anything like that since most of these new states would be above the Mason-Dixon Line.

In the meantime, the United States economy would completely collapse, taking the world economy with it, while the United States of America would become the new Holy Roman Empire. 

An idea that sounded really good at the time.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

Idiocy like judges overturning elections because voters are “guilty” of badthought, or the proposal to make the 127 neighborhoods of DC “states”, go here to read about it, to ensure one party rule by the Democrat party in perpetuity on the Federal level,  indicate that the Left in this country is unafraid of the citizens they seek to disenfranchise exercising the revolutionary option enshrined in the Declaration.  Mad fools dancing on a precipice they are completely oblivious to.

Apparently, Never-Trump so-called conservatives agree with the left. Elections are only “democratic” if they get what they want.

They would rather see the left win (more abortions, more execrable/immoral court rulings, more regulations, more taxes, less dependency, economic ruin) than ordinary Americans and Trump succeed.

One of my favorite and most useful sentences originated with the movie, “My Cousin Vinny.” It goes like this, “Everything that guy just said is bullshit.”

We may experience peak TDS in 2020. Likely not.

Like many, I came late to supporting Donald J. Trump. In 2016, it was ” Anybody But Clinton.” Now, I am 100% for him.

In addition to death and taxes, a certainty in life is never to believe a liberal. Now, it also applies to conservatives.

Oh. Thank God for President Donald J. Trump warts and all.

He’s not a threat to OUR democracy. He is a threat to their (left and right) hypocrisy.

My father used to say, “Never say ‘Never'”–which I guess is a contradictory statement, but could anyone imagine even ten years ago a “trans women” suing a salon worker who would not wax the pubic hair from “her” scrotum? Yes, (s)he lost, but the fight is not in any way over. Now, gynecologists are the targets.

And what is this about feminine care products being mandated in the Men’s rest rooms? Oh yes, some men have a cycle and can get pregnant.

Let us not even discuss the trafficking in unborn baby body parts by abortionists and university/corporate research scientists.

I might have been alerted to it from TAC; I can’t remember. Maybe it was at the NC Register. Regardless, if the Durston post is accurate–the post is actually about a book–we may well be seeing a lot more of “This is never ever going to happen” happening.

My concern is that as long as we allow lies about our president to stand we are contributing to them . The claims of “racism” based on lies about Charlottesville and “ALL” Mexicans. etc for example, are lies that have taken root. We could consistently correct them when they are once again falsely handed forward . This is one of the things ”we fail to do” that makes us participants

The same thing about the lies about Trump voters- that we are racists etc – which totally neglects the pro life rationale, the exposures of wiki leaks and the cultural degeneracy shown in White House (Beyoncé) riots in Missouri and elsewhere, the concerns about socialism. They want to define what that 2016 vote was about but we have to rebut that with truth
or we stay on the precipice

The Left is nothing but lies – lies about their goals, lies about their means to those goals, lies about their opponents, lies about their history. Leftism is an edifice of lies, built on a foundation of lies, on a parlel of land not of soil or rock, but the shifting sand of lies.

Prove me wrong.

Dennis Prager has pointed out that intellectuals are often much more taken with words than deeds. The language of Communism – seen as BS by those who have suffered under it – appears to be grand and Noble to the intellectual class taken with it. Communist deeds matter not to this bunch. Hence, Communist crimes are ignored. Now, Nazi crimes are not ignored. Why the difference? The Communists even liked the Nazis from August 1939 to Operation Barbarossa.
