Biden on Riot Control

Or if confronted with an armed assailant, cops could be trained to simply shoot the gun out of their hands, just like young Joe Biden watched the Lone Ranger do on television lots of times many, many moons ago.  Thanks for the tactical advice Joe!

Liberals are always talking out of turn (alt-right types are the same), Biden was never sharp to begin with, and we have reason to believe he’s suffering from cognitive decline. The sad thing is, he’s as likely as not to be elected president in November. Our country is suffering from fecklessness. What Robert Heinlein said applies, “Stupidity cannot be cured. Stupidity is the only universal capital crime; the sentence is death. There is no appeal, and execution is carried out automatically and without pity.”

Once upon a time, that was true, Art. Unfortunately nowadays a lot of society is set up to protect and coddle the stupid from their consequences. Thus why it seems more rampant.

I have long believed that if the L.A. Police had simply shot Rodney King when he finally wrecked (or stopped) his vehicle –after which he jumped out of it and charged the police who were rushing in to arrest him, we would have had a better outcome.

Interesting. Here in Cincinnati, the “protest organizers” have issued a 15 point list of demands. They want the police to be LESS skilled in their shooting and NOT more precise.
“4. We demand that the Cincinnati Police Department reduce the amount of firearm training and other violent tactics designed to be used against citizens.”

I guess that the police will only be left with demerits and harsh (but PC) language.

Very sad, Art, but true. If anyone can pull out of this mess and still get re-elected, it’s probably Trump, but I’m really worried now, much more so than even a week ago. In the immortal words of Forrest Gump, “Stupid is as stupid does.” Sure is a lot of that going around these days.

This is right up there with Joe’s advice on double barrel shotguns for protection. “ Buy a double barrel shotgun and fire two shots in the air.“

No Joe. That would mean you’re out.
It’s manual pump four rounds, first two rocksalt, next two buck shot. Pray you never need it at all, ever.

I suspect stupidity is not a sin, nor intelligence a virtue. However, pride is a sin. And I’ve noticed increasingly that our countrymen are stupid and proud of it. This leads them to do increasingly stupid acts which can feed their sinful pride. They use social media to brag about how stupid they can be.
As always, our troubles come down to sin as the cause.
